"Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your
strength lies."

*Mother Teresa

Small things are where your strength lies...can we identify what small things we do to stay strong on the program. I would like to think that protein intake is one of them, although I know for many getting protein in correct amounts is no small feat.

So on this program what are some small things we can always be faithful too? Sometimes building on the small things, and building and building can add to some great big accomplishments. Rome was not built in a day they say and reframing our bodies is going to take awhile too.

A small thing for me, almost automatic pilot is water. I drink water through the day, if I go out for lunch I always order water, I have several cans of water in my office, I usually start the morning with a big glass of water.

What are other small things that we do on this program that we can build on? Any tricks out there to share?

Have a great day!

Hi Billie,
I talked my niece and sister into spending the evening with me Tuesday.
My sister is 5'1 and 160. My niece is 6'1" and 300 + pounds.
My sweet 19 year old niece asked me what I was doing to lose weight .
I spent quite a while talking to her. Since she loves to cook.I talked about my niece being responsible for the meal planning and writing grocery lists. She used to be a vegetarian because she loves animals and volunteered at the Humane society.
The biggest thing we decided was that she would make her meals a day ahead and prepackage them so that during the day she could take out only what she was to eat.
She has a brother and father who will never PP.
They are going to clear a shelf on the fridge for their food.
My niece looks like her father. She has large features like him but a very cute face and sweet demeaner. She refuses to go out of the house and will not get a job. She is homeschooled because of kids making fun of her.
I have been very concerned for her. So are my sister and brother in law.
My niece cannot find shoes in her size and has to buy mens shoes. She wears alot of sandles.
My sister has the PPLP and PP books because our mother insisted we all have them.

This is a very good topic. My sister called me last night asking for more suggestions. She teaches martial arts to children. My niece cannot do it because of her knees. They have a treadmill and excercycle. They have weights and a bowflex. My sister is going to work out each day with her. She has been wishing for this but it had to be her daughters idea.

I told them to first study the books and plan ahead. Planning is the key for me. I will be looking foreward to all the suggestions here and passing them onto them.
