Hello!

This may have been discussed previously here, but I'm curious to know if anyone has tried using apple cider vinegar for weight loss. I saw an interesting article a couple of weeks ago about using organic vinegar to help maintain or lose weight and to help with calcium build up around joints that causes arthritis pain and other stiff joint problems.

Has anyone tried this? Do you know anything about it?

Thanks!

:)

I used it to help lower blood sugars. It worked, but I got tired of it very quickly. I started to dread taking it even though I diluted it and added a sweetener -- I lasted about three weeks. I gather complaince was an issue with the studies done. I know there's vinegar capsules, but don't know if they work as well as the liquid - I would think not.

Another issue you might want to be aware of is it can eat away your teeth enamel. My dentist recommended I rinse my mouth with water & baking soda after drinking the vinegar.

I used it all through my second pregnancy for heartburn, but I've never used it for weight loss.

Thanks, CM and Belfrybat. I did find the old posts about this topic, but there wasn't much there. This is my second week with using it twice a day. I can tell my belly fat is reduced. I think it must have something to do with keeping the blood glucose at a decent level after eating, but I don't really get the science of it. At any rate, it is also supposed to help arthritis, so I'll try that as well since I have it in my foot and pain relief is wonderful! Thanks again!
