"It's so hard when I have to, and so easy when I want to."
--Annie Gottlie

Ain't it the truth? There is some strange phenomena about humans that can do things so effortlessly when they don't have to and it becomes so hard when they do. My sis in law who I have spoke on before is a great case in point. A good housekeeper she is not, I mean really the pitts. But when she comes over to our house she always pitches in with cleaning up or doing things around here and it is perfection.

Same on this program, once you get your mind turned around and not contribe things as work, or I gotta do it, or whatever you begin so freedom and some ease that makes it so much easier. My staff, although they don't follow suit, know that I eat good quality protein and eat low carb. They have made it easier for me to eat lunch with them (they love the burger joints). But at first I just chose not to go, too much temptation. Now they go to places that at least I can get a grilled piece of protein and a salad.

Sometimes this program is only as hard as we make it, sometimes it is quite easy, always it is healthy!

Have a great day, I am away for a couple of days on business back on Friday, catch you all then!

So true, Billie. I sound a little bit like your sister-in-law. My place is, um, not very neat, but I'm always the first to help with the clean up when I'm a guest. Why is that???

Off to renew my driver's license this morning, then choir practice tonight. It's my birthday today, but I'll be celebrating on Thurs. and Sun. My honey's birthday is tomorrow so we usually have a joint birthday dinner. We'll go out tomorrow to a place that serves great steaks and salads. Then Sun. is a family lunch at another great steak place (my choice ;) ) And you know, I don't even want a cake. The times they are a-changin'! :)

Hope your business trip is a success.

Happy birthday Kathy..
Hey Billie, How do we make ourselves WANT to??
Perhaps you are very encouraging and greatful to your sister in law and in her own home, she does not get encouragement or a thank you when she cleans her own home.
Tansfer that to what we are doing with PP. What makes us want to?

Hey Billie, How do we make ourselves WANT to?? Boy, if I knew that, I'd be somewhere other than here! I would need a serious attitude adjustment. Once I worked at a little factory office, burned out after five years and looking for another job. I prayed for a new job, but what I got was a refreshed attitude and I stayed two more years. Since then, I've tried to adjust my attitude when I'm dissatisfied and find myself grousing. It generally works!

Kathy, your plans reminded me that I was soon to need a new license, so I stopped by the Secretary of State. I walked in, pulled a number (8) and a voice said "Number eight!" I almost fainted. I think I'll go buy a lottery ticket! I wish you the same experience. :)
