B - shake (frozen coffee, water, chocolate protein powder, ricotta)
two eggs mixed with bit of cream; 2 slices chicken bacon

water, black tea

L - small pork chop, shredded lettuce, 4 slices cucumber, 4 slices tomato, little red onion

water, black tea
babybel cheese (about 1 oz)
few mixed nuts

D -And dinner was? :D I love those little babybel cheeses, portable, easy, taste good and fairly cheap, nice snack idea CM!

D - Pork riblets done in oven; Swiss chard and a few green beans (they were strange - almost like a cross between a bean & pea - the texture was odd - so I didn't finish them. Butter & vinegar on the chard.

Breakfast: Strawberry protein shake

Lunch: Didn't plan so I ate about 3 oz swiss cheese and I would love something to crunch. Added 1/2 C frozen fruit that was in the office fridge.

Dinner: LC flatbread pizza w/sausage, pepperoni, provolone, mushrooms, black olives.

Snack: double cheeseburger on 1/2 bun between lunch at 11 and dinner at 9:30.

Carol, were you hungry last night? I would have been starving! It sounds like you had an incredibly busy day eating dinner at 9L30 and snack that large at 11, I guess you were hungry! See what happens when we don't eat enough!!! Nice save sweetie!

...The cheese was at 11am, the burger at 5pm and the pizza was at 9:30pm--a dysfunctional day! I hit the store on the way home last night and have real food at work in the fridge now. Thanks, Billie

It was a simple if hectic day. ;)
1: cinnamon hazelnut mocha shake (35g protein, 12g ECC...and thankfully, the last of the yucky Walmart ricotta!)
2: 6 oz. orange roughy micro-steamed over 3/4 cup chopped swiss chard (thank the goddess for the garden...no need for bagged greens in this house!) I created a sauce while it was cooking out of 2 pats of butter, an oz. of half and half, six cherry tomatoes and an oz. of shredded no-salt swiss cheese (about 37g protein, 10g ECC)
3: about an oz of saki ika (12g protein, 5g ECC)
4: a cafe au lait and spicy tuna hand roll--a sushi cornucopia of toasted nori, about 3 oz. raw tuna, a tablespoon of shredded cucumber and two or three thin slices of avocado with a wasabi dressing. (I'm guessing it was around 15g protein, and 10g ECC). One of the virtues of actually leaving work on time is that I got to the grocery store while they were actually making the sushi, and was able to ask for two hand rolls without rice. Saved one for tomorrow's lunch, unless I get hungry later tonight. ;)

Around 100g protein, and 37g ECC for the day.

Walked for half an hour...should have done Pilates, too, but I'm still a lot tired from my weekend family wedding.

Oh Patricia you put us all to shame! Great looking menu and exercise and you survived a hectic family "friendly" weekend, that can cause me to really plough into the carbs... Nice going as usual!

B: ~33 g pro, 7-8 ECC
protein shake w/strawberries & greek yogurt
L: ~33g pro, 4-5 ECC
6 oz canned light tuna, salad of romaine & broccoli w/ranch dressing
D: ~35g pro, 9-10 ECC
Chicken breast (on the bone), grilled with LC BBQ sauce; garlic cauliflower mash
Snack 1 - predinner: almonds & cashews - about 1/2 oz
Snack 2/dessert plans : 100g cantaloupe + something contrasty - maybe a little feta or pepperoni

Hey Lisa got some nice protein going, good for you! And I lilke the idea of your dessert with the fruit and cheese/or pepperoni. Nice complimentary items there. Let me know how it tasted!! Sound delish!

it tasty pretty good with the pepperoni - I opened a new package of feta as I was making Greek Salad for the week's lunches last night - and it wasn't very good feta - not the right tang - but good feta would have been really good with the sweet melon.

I LOVE reading these threads :) It's really cool to see what other people do, and how they handle things.

I just have issues and don't like other people looking at what I eat. I know, I know. :) But I track, and I try to get new ideas from these menu posts too. It's nice to have this available.
