Yeah, yeah... I know... Been a while.
Advice for the guys: Never, EVER, no matter how good an idea it seems at the time, date a stripper. Even an ex-stripper.
She moved in, her cat moved in (I'm allergic) and she then insisted that I cook for her. Food that she liked. While she occupied MY couch with MY clicker. Can't scream at them. They expect it. And they're better at it than you are. Can't hit 'em, because that's just not nice. Can't bury 'em in the backyard without special zoning... Argh. Took six months until that was over. I sorta miss the cat.
Then where I worked turned into Job From Hell, and all that... I've gained about 40ish over my low, but I'm still about 70 from the high, so I think I've generally done okay... On hiatus from work right now, basically figuring on getting my head together (and eventually hunt for another job...).
I'm also gonna be taking care of the new girlfriend (actually about a year now... and she smiles...).
If you EVER have a friend or relative who is considering gastric bypass surgery, lock them in your basement, and throw in a slice or two of beef jerky every few hours for a while... They'll quit whining eventually... Gotta be safer, easier, more healthy... 19 months ago, before I knew her, Jen had it done in St. Louis. Started having problems after about six months... Lots of pain, throwing up, etc... First week in August, she went in to Mizzou to get stuff fixed. Four hours of surgery turned into 9 hours, and 4 days in the hospital is thus far about 18... Peritonitis, pancreatitis, lotta pain, etc... She's out, with a foot-long stapled incision, Penrose and JP drains, and a J-tube liquid feeding dealie, and may get some of it out next week. Guys, there are EASIER and more fun ways to lose weight...
Now I gotta buy another blender... Mine has died (again...). Any recommendations?
