Abufaisal, welcome in!

Protein Power doesn't restrict or eliminate foods except anything containing transfats, high fructose corn syrup, or certain types of artificial sweeteners like aspartame. The plan allows 30-40g effective carbs (total carbs minus total fiber), in servings of 7-10g ECC each. So while individuals may choose to eliminate certain foods because of sensitivities, you don't HAVE to eliminate anything (even straight table sugar) if you don't want to eliminate it.

I sometimes go through periods where I have a little milk every day. I always have some fermented milk like kefir or yogurt every day. So if you like milk, feel free to include it in your menus--just subtract the carbs it contains from your daily 30-40g effective carb allowance. One cup (8 fluid oz. or about 250ml) of whole milk (around 3.5-4% fat) contains around 11-12g of carbs...lower fat content milk usually contains more grams of carbs. Hope this helps.

A litttle milk added to the protein shake in the morning (along with the multi-vitamin and potassium...) makes the shake go down! Even in my "glory days" of PPLP back in 2000 I never got away from drinking a cup a day. :)

I use heavy cream instead of milk - 2-4T plus water in a shake or any recipe containing milk. It is yummier & lower carb than milk.

I love Blue Diamond's (http://www.bluediamond.com)Almond Breeze (unsweetened). I use it in my protein shakes. I love it in a glass with a low carb muffin. I sweeten it with a stevia/erythritol blend. It comes in 3 flavors. Original and vanilla have 1 carb and chocolate has 2 carbs per 8 oz. See ya!
