Hi Jim–
I hope it helps. Tell her to make sure to take plenty of vitamin D3 as well. Many studies have shown that women affected with breast cancer tend to have lower vitamin D levels. Many, many more women get breast cancer in northern states than in areas closer to the equator. In fact, the incidence of breast cancer rises the farther north one lives, which makes sense given that the farther north one lives, the less sun exposure and vitamin D production one has.
Vitamin D3 is the only type of vitamin D worth taking.
