I am posting this from inside a skybox at Qwest Stadium in Seattle.  MD and I have been up here for a few days and have been unbelievably busy the entire time.  We’ve had a little time for fun, but not much.  One meeting after an other for the last three days.  Plus, we haven’t had reliable internet service and my Blackberry is on the fritz.  My thumbball won’t work and I’m not going to be able to get it fixed until I get to Dallas tomorrow.  I can use the phone part, but can’t scroll to get emails or get online.  So, my comment answering and emailing have all been hamstrung for the past few days.

We landed in a snowstorm in Seattle on Thursday and have been battling the weather since.  Here is a photo of the Pike Place Market in the snow last night.

We were on our way down to the original Starbucks to get Cafe Americanos to fortify us for the rest of the day.  Here MD and I are in the very first Starbucks trying to stay warm.

Here is the view from our hotel room this morning looking out over Puget Sound.

We have a friend who got a skybox for this game and we were all planning to take a shuttle to the stadium this morning.  But, the shuttle couldn’t get to the hotel, so we all walked the couple of miles from the hotel to the stadium.  Here is MD trudging along with one of our friends.

We finally got to the stadium and during the security check the woman bagged my small bottles of Jameson.  What a vile troll she was.

Right now it’s about 30 minutes before game time and the food just got here.  So, I’m going to sign off.  Root for the Jets for me because that’s where my money is going to be.

Here is the view from inside the box where it’s nice and warm.  The seats right outside the large window come with the box but are intended for milder weather.  Or tougher fans than I am.
